Bat Mitzvah Weekend Schedule

Friday Afternoon

3:00–5:45pm: Arrival

Arrive anytime after 3pm. The Bat Mitzvah activities begin with Shabbat, which starts at 5:57pm. Before Shabbat, you are welcome to enjoy the space and the surroundings — take a walk, hike, sit outside, or go boating on the lake.

Friday Night

We will welcome Shabbat together with candlelighting and tefillah.

5:57pm: Candlelighting in the Great Hall
6:00pm: Kabbalat Shabbat in the Shul
7:00pm: Shabbat Dinner in the Dining Hall

Shabbat Morning

8:00am-10:00am: Breakfast in the Dining Hall
9:30am: Tefillah will begin in the Shul
~10:00am: Hallel will read the first Aliyah of Breishit
12:00pm: Lunch in the Dining Hall

Shabbat Afternoon

Enjoy upstate Connecticut in the fall!

Walk along the lake, go for a hike, explore the Adamah farm, meditate or practice yoga by the autumn leaves, read, or nap.

5:30pm: Light Seudah Shlishit in the Dining Hall
6:45pm: Mincha
6:55pm: Ma’ariv

Havdalah and Party!

We will transition from Shabbat to partying with a musical Havdalah by the lake.

Party attire: please wear whatever makes you feel happy. Bonus points if it’s what you would wear to the Taylor Swift Eras tour.

7:00pm: Havdalah by the lake
8:00pm–10:00pm: Party in the Great Hall
10:00pm-10:30pm: Campfire with smores

Sunday Morning

8:00–10:00am: Breakfast in the Dining Hall
8:00am: Shacharit, Rosh Chodesh
10:00am: Checkout
